The Story Behind Ironmonger360

Duncan’s path has never been a straight line. He grew up in an entrepreneurial family in England, shaped by resilience, reinvention, and hard work. Those early lessons followed him through the boom-and-bust cycles of the dot-com era, through personal financial hardship, and eventually across the ocean to the United States to build his life abroad.

In 2011, Duncan co-founded SCUF Gaming – a company that would transform competitive gaming. Over the next decade he and his team built a global powerhouse: 200+ patents, created the category of performance controllers, licensed and protected SCUF IP, partnerships with esports pros and creators, and a brand loved by millions of gamers worldwide. SCUF was acquired by Corsair Gaming in December 2019, and Duncan went on to support Corsair’s journey to NASDAQ (CRSR). It was the entrepreneurial dream—but it came with battles, setbacks, lawsuits, and personal sacrifices that only founders truly understand.
